The Pakatakan Project: One Year Later
Growing out of the very first Earth Day in 1970, the Earth Day mission has always been to diversify, educate, and activate the environmental movement worldwide, all year long. This year's theme is: Invest In Our Planet. One year ago, we announced our donation to support the Pakatakan Project through our partnership with SNAP Québec, the Quebec Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society.
This Earth Day, we're taking a look back at everything they've been able to achieve so far, through our donation of $50,000, to help conserve Canada’s natural spaces and wildlife.
Here are some highlights of the work that has been done, since last Earth Day, towards the protection and recognition of Innu natural sacred sites!
